| FSc Pre-Medical | Physics, Chemistry, Biology (medical field) |

Passing marks and grading system of Larkana Board 12th class
The minimum passing marks are 33% in each subject. A candidate who does not reach this in any paper is placed in the supplementary list for that subject. Use the grading table below to understand your standing:
| Percentage of Marks | Grade | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| 80% and above | A1 | Outstanding |
| 70% to below 80% | A | Excellent |
| 60% to below 70% | B | Very Good |
| 50% to below 60% | C | Good |
| 40% to below 50% | D | Fair |
| 33% to below 40% | E | Satisfactory / Pass |
| Below 33% | F | Fail |
Your second year marks combine with the first year marks to make the final HSSC certificate. Division wise, above 60% is first division, 45% to below 60% is second division, and 33% to below 45% is third division. This combined percentage is what colleges and universities look at for admission.

Rechecking and recounting of papers
If your marks in any subject look lower than expected, Larkana Board offers a rechecking service. You apply within the given days and deposit the prescribed fee per paper. The board re-verifies the marking and adds the totals again to make sure nothing was left. If a genuine error is found, your marks are corrected. This is a re-verification of marking and totalling, not a fresh checking of the whole answer sheet.

Why check your 12th class result on rezult.pk
On the day the Inter part 2 result is declared, the official website is under heavy load and often slows down. Our page offers a faster and easier route. Students prefer rezult.pk for the 2nd year result 2026 Larkana Board because:
- The result box is quick, needing only roll number, class and exam year.
- It stays responsive even during the announcement day rush.
- All groups – FA, FSc, ICS, ICom and General – use the same box.
- Older sessions are available so you can pick the right exam year.
- The page is fully mobile friendly.
Importance of the roll number slip in 12th class
Your roll number slip is the key to your final intermediate result, so keep it safe after the exams. Without the correct roll number, the system cannot find your record. If the slip is lost, get the roll number from your college office, which keeps a record of its students, or contact the Larkana Board office. Keep the number private, as it is tied to your personal HSSC result.
What information appears on your 12th class mark sheet
When the Inter part 2 result opens, you receive a complete subject wise breakdown along with the combined intermediate total. A typical mark sheet includes:
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Roll Number | Your unique exam number |
| Candidate Name | Name registered with the board |
| Father Name | For identification |
| Institute / College | The college you appeared from |
| Group | FA, FSc Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, ICom or General |
| Subject wise Marks | Obtained marks against total for each subject |
| Part 1 + Part 2 Total | Combined intermediate total marks |
| Grade & Status | Grade and Pass / Fail / Supplementary |
Since the 12th class result combines with the first year marks, your mark sheet usually shows the overall HSSC total too. Check each subject, and if any figure looks too low, you can apply for rechecking within the allowed time.
Practical exams in 12th class
Students of FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering and ICS take practical exams in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science along with the theory papers. These practicals are conducted at the exam centres under examiners appointed by BISE Larkana. Theory and practical marks are added for the final subject result, so a strong practical can lift your overall second year score.
When is the 12th class result 2026 expected
BISE Larkana announces the Inter part 2 result after completing the checking of all papers, which usually takes about two to three months from the last paper. The board issues an official notification about the date and time before the announcement. Instead of following rumours, keep visiting this page, as we post the confirmed date of the 12th class result 2026 Larkana Board as soon as it is available.
Documents you need after passing 12th class
After clearing intermediate, you will apply to universities and professional programmes. Keep these documents ready:
- Original and photocopies of the HSSC (12th class) mark sheet and certificate.
- Matric mark sheet and certificate.
- College Leaving Certificate and Character Certificate.
- Recent passport size photographs.
- Copy of your and your guardian’s CNIC / B-Form.
If you plan to join a university in another region, you may also need a Migration Certificate from BISE Larkana. For many degrees you will also sit an entry test, so prepare for it early.
Career guidance after 12th class
Your intermediate group opens the door to specific fields. Here is a quick guide to keep your goal clear during admissions:
| Group | Common Career Direction |
|---|---|
| FSc Pre-Medical | MBBS, BDS, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biosciences |
| FSc Pre-Engineering | Engineering, Architecture, Physical Sciences |
| ICS | Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering |
| ICom | BBA, Commerce, Accounting, Banking, Finance |
| FA / General | Law, Arts, Social Sciences, Media, Education |
Grade improvement and re-appear option
If you passed but want better marks, Larkana Board allows re-appearing in eligible subjects to improve your grade. The better result is generally considered. A stronger intermediate percentage helps in competitive university admissions and scholarships. The board issues improvement exam rules and dates, and we share those updates here on rezult.pk.
What to do if your result does not open
If your 12th class result is not showing, it is usually a small mistake. Try these steps:
- Check that the roll number is typed exactly as on the slip, with no extra space.
- Confirm you selected 12th Class and the correct exam year.
- On announcement day, wait a moment and retry if the page is slow due to heavy traffic.
- Refresh the page or use another browser if it still does not load.
If the result is still not visible right after the announcement, the board may be uploading data in stages, so try again a little later.
About BISE Larkana
The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Larkana is a recognised board of Sindh that conducts and manages the Matric and Intermediate examinations in its region, covering registration, examination, checking and result declaration. For official queries about your intermediate result, documents or migration, you can reach the board through http://biselrk.edu.pk. For quick and easy result checking, this rezult.pk page stays ready for you.
Annual exams versus supplementary exams
The annual exam is the main yearly Inter part 2 examination that all regular 12th class students appear in. The supplementary exam is a second chance held later in the same year for students who failed one or two subjects or missed the annual paper. In the supplementary sitting you appear only in the pending subject, so you do not repeat the whole second year. Clearing the subject in supplementary completes your intermediate on time.
Merit, scholarships and result verification
High achievers in the 12th class may qualify for merit certificates and scholarships from the government, universities, the board or welfare trusts. Because the second year result finalises your HSSC certificate, top scorers may appear in the position holders list of Larkana Board, which can bring rewards and open doors to good institutions. Your verified intermediate result is used for university admission, entry tests, scholarships and job applications, so confirm that your name, group and details on the mark sheet are correct.
A note for students who could not pass
If your intermediate result did not come as you hoped, stay calm and keep faith in yourself. One result does not define your whole journey. Use the supplementary chance, work on your weak areas, and take guidance from teachers and seniors. Many students who stumbled in a paper later went on to strong careers. If you feel discouraged, talk to a trusted family member or teacher, because support and a steady plan can turn things around.

Understanding how your intermediate marks combine
The final HSSC percentage is the combined total of the 11th class (Part 1) and the 12th class (Part 2), not the second year alone. So even if your first year marks were average, a strong 12th class result improves your overall intermediate percentage. This combined figure is what universities and professional colleges use for admission and merit lists. Knowing this helps you understand exactly how important your second year performance is for your future.
Result day checklist for 12th class students
To keep announcement day stress free, have these ready:
- Your roll number slip or the exact roll number noted safely.
- A working internet connection, or mobile balance for the SMS option.
- This page bookmarked so you reach the result box quickly.
- A pen and paper or phone notes to save your marks and division.
With this ready, you can view your 12th class result 2026 Larkana Board smoothly the moment it is declared, and start your admission process without delay.
A message for parents
The intermediate result is a major milestone, as it decides university admission and career direction. Parents should handle this moment with care. If the result is strong, celebrate the effort and support the next step, whether it is an entry test or a degree admission. If the result falls short, respond with understanding rather than pressure, and plan the supplementary, improvement or alternative path together calmly. Your encouragement at this turning point can shape your child’s confidence and future for years to come.
Common mistakes to avoid while checking your result
Most result day problems come from small errors. Avoid these to check your marks smoothly:
- Do not type the roll number with extra spaces or wrong digits.
- Do not select the wrong class or a different exam year.
- Do not depend only on the official website when it is overloaded, use the rezult.pk box instead.
- Do not trust fake result images shared on social media, always verify with your own roll number.
- Do not forget to save your marks and division once the result opens.
